MEDIUM Coastal Buoy

The MEDIUM coastal buoy is designed to deploy a multiparameter probe SAMBAT on protected coastal waters and it allows to deploy the probe in rivers, where the current is high. The buoy is equipped with a traffic light and a St. Andrew cross. The data are transmitted via GPRS transmission.

Features and benefits

  • The coastal SAMBAT buoy consists of a 600-liters float, mounted on a galvanized steel central body.
  • The latter integrates a SAMBAT and its GPS / GPRS antenna, mounted on a support pole inaluminum.
  • This is designed to provide effective protection for SAMBAT, and an easy maintenance of the probe.
