CDOM Sensor
Chromophoric dissolved organic matter or colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) refers to organic matter in water that strongly absorbs the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum. Fluorescent dissolved organic matter (FDOM) refers to the fraction of CDOM that fluoresces. The fDOM is a surrogate for CDOM and a quick and easy way to track DOM in natural waters.
The CDOM sensor compatible with our WiMo and WiMo Plus range and measures colored dissolved organic matter present in fresh or marine waters. It uses an ultraviolet light emitting diode (UV LED) with an excitation filter.
The CDOM sensor is also compatible with Mosens Modbus.
