pCO2 instruments on T-Flex buoy
Our new pCO2 instruments mounted on a T-Flex buoy have just been deployed for a year in the tropical Atlantic to measure the CO2 fugacity in the ocean surface.
Project leaded by the UPMC and coordinated by the Thalassa crew from IFREMER.

Deployment of an instrumented buoy in Qinhuangdao, China
Last week, we deployed an instrumented buoy on the coast of Qinhuangdao in China with the help of our agent Samuel Wisdom (QDGK) and our expatriate engineer for the « Marine Geological Resource Survey Center of Hebei Province », a pollution monitoring office.
The buoy, piloted by an automaton ABIN is equipped with a SMATCH TS C/T/D/Do/Fluo/Phyco/pH, a current meter and a weather station.
